Little Star Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Trip Boat
Anglo Welsh’s ‘Little Star’ (‘Seren Fach’ in Welsh) offers skippered cruises across the UNESCO World Heritage Status Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The 45-minute return trips take visitors along the Llangollen Canal and across the historic aqueduct to experience amazing views across the Dee Valley. At 300 metres long and 39 metres high, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is the longest and highest aqueduct in Britain. Also known as ‘The Stream in the Sky’, the aqueduct, which took over 500 men 10 years to build, opened in 1805. Anglo Welsh’s knowledgeable team provides commentary on board and light refreshments are available, including tea and coffee. Aber Falls Distillery
Aber Falls Whisky Distillery, the first of its kind in North Wales for more than 100 years, is located in the village of Abergwyngregyn in Gwynedd. Established in 2017, the award-winning distillery offers a portfolio of premium spirits, produced using sustainably sourced local ingredients, including water from the Rhaeadr Fawr, the famous Aber Falls waterfall.

Bach Wen is located on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula with stunning views over Caernarfon Bay, at the edge of Snowdonia National Park. A site steeped in history offering walks to local iconic landmarks, as well as private entrance to the beach, Bach Wen can meet all your event and accommodation needs. The spectacular 10 acre site has a large licensed barn suitable for business and pleasure for up to 180 standing and 60 seated. In-house caterers using only the best local produce, including Bach Wen grown vegetables, can provide bespoke menus. There are ten cottages and two glamping pods, in total sleeping 55.
