Anglo Welsh’s ‘Little Star’ (‘Seren Fach’ in Welsh) offers skippered cruises across the UNESCO World Heritage Status Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The 45-minute return trips take visitors along the Llangollen Canal and across the historic aqueduct to experience amazing views across the Dee Valley.  At 300 metres long and 39 metres high, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is the longest and highest aqueduct in Britain.  Also known as ‘The Stream in the Sky’, the aqueduct, which took over 500 men 10 years to build, opened in 1805.  Anglo Welsh’s knowledgeable team provides commentary on board and light refreshments are available, including tea and coffee.
